What is professional coaching?

Coaching is both a relationship of trust and a structured process promoting awareness. It enables an individual or a team to overcome a blocking situation, boost creativity and open up new perspectives.

The professional coach is a thinking partner who brings a fresh perspective, helps identify obstacles and encourages the emergence of appropriate solutions. Our experience and expertise guarantee human, pragmatic and personalized support.

Individual coaching

Whether face-to-face or remote, individual coaching is designed for executives, managers, project leaders, experts or employees.

It can be used to address a wide range of issues, such as :

In individual coaching, our approach is based on structured steps:

  1. An introductory interview:
    During this initial interview, the coach and the coachee define together the needs, context, expectations and objectives of the support. If mutual agreement is reached, a contract is drawn up.
  2. Tripartite interview :
    In the case of coaching financed by a company, a meeting between the coach, the coachee, his/her manager and, if necessary, an HR representative is organized to frame the approach and align the expectations of all stakeholders.
  3. Coaching :
    Coaching takes place over a series of sessions (between 4 and 10, depending on objectives), each lasting 2 hours. These sessions enable us to work on the defined objectives, explore blockages and implement concrete solutions.
  4. Fence  :
    At the end of the coaching session, time is devoted to anchoring what has been learned and the changes made. In the case of in-company coaching, a tripartite review meeting is also organized, during which the coachee presents his or her progress.

 

Team coaching

In team coaching, we support groups to achieve their objectives while developing their full potential, by improving internal operating procedures. Team coaching is a powerful lever for strengthening collective intelligence and sustainable performance of the group.

Any company wishing to enhance the performance and well-being of its employees can turn to corporate coaching.

Team coaching is designed for management, cross-functional and operational teams.

Examples of topics covered during team coaching:

  • Define the mission a team or a project.
  • Identify causes of malfunction.
  • Strengthen the positioning of a team leader or manager.
  • Clarify values shared by the team.
  • Identify operating modes collective.
  • Specify missions and responsibilities of each member.

How does team coaching work?

  1. Defining the objective
    The first step is to clearly identify the coaching goal, usually in consultation with the team leader.

  2. Support planning
    The program lasts several months and is structured around coaching workshops. The number of workshops generally varies between 5 and 7, the themes and objectives being co-constructed with the leader and team members.

  3. Coach adaptability
    We adjust our approach according to the needs and responses of the group, whether for a long-term program or a one-off intervention.

Two possible formats

1/ One-off intervention: a targeted session designed to assess or diagnose the functioning of an organization, department or team. It may include :

  • Diagnosis of team functioning.
  • A strategy seminar to define vision and mission.
  • Team-building or training to strengthen cohesion.
  • A thematic workshop focusing on the steps needed to increase maturity and performance.

2/ Intervention over several months: support spread over time, similar to individual coaching, to anchor progress, consolidate learning and support the team's ongoing progress.

 

Methods and tools

Our accredited and certified coaches use a variety of tools and approaches, adapted to the specific challenges of each individual.

Our main approaches include :

  • Systematics Understanding interactions and dynamics within a system (team, organization).
  • The theory of change : accompanying transitions and transformations.
  • Solution orientation Focus on resources and solutions rather than problems.
  • Narrative practices Working on personal narratives to restore meaning and explore new perspectives.
  • The neurocognitive and behavioral approach A better understanding of how the brain and behavior work, so you can act more effectively.

 

We also use specific tools such as :

  • MBTI® (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) to explore personality preferences and get to know yourself better.
  • Profil'INC to identify intrinsic motivations and work on behavioral dynamics.
  • TKI (Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument) to understand and improve conflict management.
  • Emotional intelligence questionnaire to develop your ability to manage your emotions and those of others.
  • DISC Forces Motrices to better understand its attitudes and behaviors.
